Livistona muelleri
It grows in wooded areas and savannahs from sea level up to an altitude of 900m.
It is rarely used in gardening nowadays. Its presence is practically limited to botanical gardens and collectors.
It is a medium sized palm which grows rather slowly. It has a compact crown formed of greyish green quite rigid leaves. Its inflorescences are red.
Leaf remains are retained on its trunk for many years.
It is not very demanding as far as soil type is concerned and is resistant to drought.
